Obituary

On November 29, 1946 a lovely set of twins were born to Aubry and Telma Adams. The baby girl of the town was named Lenora. Lenora and her twin brother were the four of nine children born to this union. Lenora was reared in Tulsa Oklahoma an attended Tulsa Public Schools. She was active in sports and took a special interest in softball during High School at Booker T. Washington. She accepted Christa at an early age and later joined the New Bethel Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Ardellas Marshall.

Lenora met Mr. Willie Marshall and was won over by his charm, together they had three wonderful children. Willie Ray, William and Juanita Marshall.

Lenora was full of laughter and found lots of enjoyment dancing and skating. One of her greatest attributes that she possessed was the love she had for her children and grandchildren. She was always amusing them with her awesome sense of humor while watching a good movie with them.

On Thursday, May 9, 2013, around eight thirty in the evening Lenora heard a sweet sounding voice and she simply answered “Yes Lord” and journeyed off to her heavenly home, where she joined her parents Mr. & Mrs. Aubry Adams. Her three sisters, Sharon Kay, Elmanda and Erna. Her brother Chester Adams and her grandson Robert William Marshall.

She leaves to cherish her early memories husband Mr. Willie Marshall ; two sons Willie Ray Jr. (Tasha) and William (Detyonna) Marshall. One lovely daughter Juanita (David) all of Tulsa. Her three sisters Alleen Glover; Avery Adams; Marion Bowie. Two brothers Delbert Adams (Philpelia) Leonard Adams, Texas. Her best friend Mrs. Patricia Edwards; nineteen grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
