Obituary

Elizabeth Redricks Knox, better known as Liz, was born on June 24, 1943 to Ruth and Isaac Redricks of Coweta, Oklahoma. She was the 2nd child of nine siblings, born into the loving family.

She was a member of Solid Rock Baptist Church were she was taught to love God. She graduated in 1961, from the historically acclaimed Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

After graduating, she married Walter Knox of Tulsa, Oklahoma. She was quiet, soft-spoken, and enjoyed reading her bible. She could be “fiery” at times and was a great sister.

On May 1, 2013, the doors of heaven opened up and Elizabeth quietly walked into the kingdom, being met at heaven’s gate by her parents, and sister Mary Louise Redricks.

She leaves to cherish her precious memory three sisters Bobbie(Clinton) Ruff; Wanda (Raymond) Bolden; Esther Redricks; all of Tulsa oK. Four brothers Leroy (Sharon) Rediricks; Theodore Redricks, Charles Redricks; all of Tulsa Ok, and Dale W. Redricks, Claremore Ok, along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mrs. Knox, will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2013, 1:00-5:00 pm

Services for Mrs. Elizabeth Redricks Knox will be held on Friday, May 10, 2013 at Dyer Memorial Chapel 11:00 am.

Interment Green Acres Memorial Gardens, Skiatook, Ok.
