Obituary

We reflect amd remember Mr. mathaniel Strong, Sr.
Nathaniel made his apprearance in Okmulgee Oklahoma to the proud parents of Mr. Jess Stong amd Hazel Wilkins Strong on August 10, 1941.

Sonny, as he was lovingly called, attended school in Okmulee and Taft, Oklahoma. After school, he then enlisted in the United States Army.

He later met and married Juanita Field. to this union eightg children were born. Sonny worked as a truck driver for the peanut factory in Okmulgee Oklahoma. He was an avid fisherman and with his quick wit he enjoyed making others laught. he also enjoyed cooking and good music.

On January 9, 2012, Snny transitioned from this life to life everlasting. Sonny was pareceded in dath by both his parents, Mr and Mrs. Jess Strong, brothers Lynell Strong and Floyd Strong one dauther, Mrs. Kathryn Titsworth and one sister, Mary Ann Strong.

He leaves to cherish his memory, five sons, Mr. Nathaniel Strong Jr. Mr. Marcus Strong, Mr. Robert Strong, and Mr. Eric Strong. two daughters, Shalanda Turner and Laronda Simien, tow sisters, Mr. Queen Esther Jordan and Mrs. Dorothy Richmond, two brothers, Mr. John Strong amd Joe Rena Strong along with a host of relatives and friends.

Viewing for Mr. Strong will be held on Thursday, Janaury 17, 2013 1:00-5:00 pm.

Service will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013 at 11:00am at
St. Mary’s Christian Center, 710 N. Hillman, Okmulgee, Ok.
