From Labor to Retirement

Dana A Williams Sutton was born October 27, 1933, the fourth child of Shelby and Lillian Williams in South Haven, Oklahoma. Dana acceped Christ at an early age at the New Bethel Church of God in Christ under pastorship of Elder and Sister F.M. Campbell, Bishop A.L Hearne, Elder Kennedy, and Elder James Ciggs.

Dama attemded South Haven Elementary, Carver Jr. High School in 1951. In 1950, Dana met and married Raymond Lee Tiger, and to their union three children were born; Cynthia Yvetta, Rahel Ann, and Raye Anthony Teger. She pursed her career in Cosmetology and worked in several beauty shops in North Tulsa.

Dana laer became a cook which was a true gift from God, especially her homoemade rolls and pastries. Dana worked for Coleman’s Bar-B-que Earl Whites, The Caluidos Supper Club, The Cognito Inn, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Helmerich, Mr. and Mrs. Barry
Davis, Mr. and Mrs. Bartlett, and Mr. and Mrs. Mike Smith, just to name few. She retired in 1986, started a catering business.

IN 2012, Dana was crowned Mrs. Life Senior Service. Once
Dana statd. ” Flowers” remind me of people, they grow, live, multiply, beauty, and then they die.

Dana was preceeded in death by both parents, Shelby and Lillian Williams, two children, and Ray Tiger, one granddaighter, Lilliah Ores, two great grandsons, Emanuael and Kaleb, four sisters Betty Ewell, Louise Jamison, Maryty Nelson and Mae Abernathy, and two brothers, Benjamin and Leon Williams. She leaves to cherish her memores daughter Rahel Tiger, five brothers, Eugene3 Billy, Aasron, Ronald, and Joe Williams, three sister nancy Books,
Ann Watson and Partrica Smith, three grandchilodren,
Arkala Tiger, Ayrahel Damia, and Raye Anthony (Orees, three
great grandchildren, Moraia Resai Washington, Ores Biggs, a host of neieces,nephews cousins, relatives and friends.

Viewing for Ms. Dana Sutton will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2012 1:00-5:00 pm at Dyer Chapel.

Services will be held on Friday, September 14, 2012 at 1:00 pm at Fellowdhip Church Ministries 570 N. Denver.
