Obituary

Quincy went to live with his Heavenly Father, Friday, November 25, 2011 at St. John’s Hospital in Tulsa, Ok. He was called home at the early age of 32 years, 11 months. He was born to Luther Duane and Lydia L. Jones on January 27, 1979.

Quincy received his educaton through the Tulsa Public School system for elementary through High School. He loved going to school and learning about anything to do with science and history. He had a natural talents for installing electronic equipment in both cars and homes.

Quincy had an infectous persoanlty and smile. He met very few strangers and was always sysmpathectic to anyone in need.

He liked football and especially loved basketball and was a promising player untl he injured his back at the age of 14.

One of his hobbies was playing video games against his friends and father. He loved going out to eat. One of his favorite pastimes was trying any new restaurant at least once.

Quincy was introduced to Christ at an early age at Second Ebenezer Baptist Church. He later attended Greater Union Baptist Church. Most recently he attended services at the Star of Bethlehem Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. James Johnson.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Casey; his parents, Duane and Lydia; his sister, Takinka; his nephew, Kascious (K.D); his three children, Seanacie, Damon, Darrius, and his special children, Kawliga, Michael,and Avery. His aunts Mae Eva Denton, of Oklahoma City, OK, Patricia Johnson of Tulsa, OK, Denise Jones of St. Louis, MO, and one uncle William Jennings of Bluff, OK, and many cousins and a host of friends.

Visitation will be held on Thursday December 1, 2011 1-7 pm at the Dyer Chapel.

Services will be conducted on Friday, December 2, 2011 2:00 pm at Greater Union Baptist Church 955 E. 36th St. North Tulsa, OK.
